북한-니카라과 외교관계 복원 (E)

북한은 중미 국가인 니카라과와의 외교관계를 복원했다고 밝혔습니다.

북한 관영 라디오평양 방송은 소재명 신임 니카라과 대사가 다니엘 오르테가 니카라과 대통령에게 신임장을 제출했다고 보도했습니다.

북한과 니카라과의 외교관계는 지난 1990년 오르테가 대통령이 대선에서 패한 후 단절됐었습니다.

오르테가 대통령은 지난 1월 재집권했습니다.

North Korea says it has restored diplomatic ties with Nicaragua.

North Korea's official Radio Pyongyang said today (Friday) that the country's new ambassador to Nicaragua, So Jae Myong, has presented his credentials to Nicaraguan President Daniel Ortega.

Relations between North Korea and Nicaragua had been suspended since 1990, when Mr. Ortega was defeated by Violeta Barrios de Chamorro in a presidential election.

Mr. Ortega retuned to office in January.(미국의 소리 2007.5.25)
