러시아, 극동지역에 대규모 핵 발전소 건설 계획 (Eng)

러시아의 핵에너지 기관과 최대 알루미눔 민간제조회사 인 루살사는 러시아 극동부에 대규모 핵에너지와 금속 처리 발전소를 건설할  계획이라고 발표했습니다.

양측은 9일 이같은 민관 합작관계를 발표했으나 발전소부지의 정확한  지점은  밝히지 않았습니다. 양측은 올해 말까지 예비 조사를 실시한 뒤 발전소와 제련소 건설을 위한 일정을 확정할 계획이라고 말했습니다.

이번에 건설되는 핵에너지 합작사업은 러시아의  저비용  전력을 이용한 알루미눔제조를 목적으로 합니다.   러시아는 최근 세계 최대 알루미늄 생산국으로 떠올랐습니다.

Russia's nuclear-energy agency, along with Russian aluminum giant Rusal say they will build a huge nuclear energy and metal processing plant in Russia's Far East.

The two announced the public-private partnership today (Monday), but did not say exactly where the facility would be built.

They say a feasibility study will be conducted by the end of the year, then a timetable will be set for construction of the plant and smelter.

The joint nuclear energy venture will provide low-cost electricity to run Rusal's aluminum blast furnace.

Rusal recently became the world's largest producer of aluminum.<미국의 소리 2007.4.9>
