[독일-미국] '득점선두 등극' 뮐러, 공식 MOM 선정

 

미국과의 경기에서 결승골을 넣은 독일의 토마스 뮐러가 경기 공식 최우수 선수에 등극했다.

독일은 27일(이하 한국시각) 오전 1시 브라질의 아레나 페르남부코에서 열린 2014 FIFA 브라질 월드컵 G조 3차전 미국과의 경기에서 토마스 뮐러의 골에 힘입어 1-0으로 승리하며 16강 진출을 확정지었다.

이날 토마스 뮐러는 선발 출전해 풀타임을 소화하며 후반 10분 결승골을 넣으며 팀을 16강으로 이끌었다. 오른쪽에서 얻은 코너킥을 외질이 이대일 패스를 통해 중앙으로 올린 것을 페어 메르테자커가 헤딩 슈팅을 시도했다. 이 슈팅이 골키퍼 맞고 나온 공을 뒤에 쳐져있던 뮐러가 반대편 골문을 보고 정확하게 감아 차며 골을 넣은 것.
 골로 뮐러는 세 경기 네 골을 기록해 리오넬 메시(아르헨티나), 네이마르(브라질)와 득점 선두에 올랐다.

이에 FIFA는 경기 직후 공식 MOM(Man Of the Match)에 뮐러의 이름을 올렸다.

뮐러는 현재 사상 초유의 두 대회 연속 득점왕에 도전하고 있다
