Afghan presidential candidate debates on TV

Presidential candidate Mohammad Sayed Hashimi (L) attends a debate program at Negah TV in Kabul, capital of Afghanistan, June 29, 2009. For the first time a private television channel in an initiation "Challenge" program invites presidential candidates for Debate to air their national agenda. There are 41 candidates including incumbent President Hamid Karzai on the race for the country's top slot scheduled for August 20 this year.
