이스라엘의 공습으로 파괴된 하마스 지도자의 집

이스라엘이 가자지구 내 하마스에 대한 공격을 강화하고 있는 가운데, 하마스는 공습으로 고위 지도자가 사망한 데 대해 복수를 다짐했습니다.

이스라엘은 2일 북부 가자 지구에 공습을 가해 하마스의 것으로 추정되는 건물과 사원을 파괴했습니다. 이스라엘은 하마스 고위 관리들의 자택에도 공습을 가했습니다.

팔레스타인 언론은 이 날 공습으로 거리에서 놀던 어린이 3명도 사망했다고 보도했습니다.

한편, 하마스는 1일 이스라엘의 공습으로 고위 지도자 나이자르 라얀이 사망한데 대해, 자살폭탄 공격 등을 포함한 보복을 다짐했습니다.

Israel is pressing on with its attacks against Hamas targets in the Gaza Strip, as the Palestinian militant group vowed revenge for the killing of one of its top leaders.

Israeli air strikes today (Friday) destroyed buildings suspected of belonging to Hamas and a mosque (in the Jabaliya refugee camp) in northern Gaza. Israeli officials say the mosque was used to store rockets and other weapons.

The homes of senior Hamas officials were among the sites targeted in the air raids.

Palestinian medical officials say one of the air strikes killed three children playing on a street in Gaza.

This comes as Israeli troops and tanks remain massed on the Gaza border preparing for a possible ground invasion.

Meanwhile, Hamas vowed revenge after an Israeli air strike Thursday killed cleric Nizar Rayyan, the first senior leader of the Palestinian militant group to die in the offensive. A Hamas spokesman (Ismail Radwan) says options for revenge include suicide bombings and striking at Israeli targets everywhere.
