IAEA 핵사찰 요원, 방북길에 올라 (E)

국제원자력기구,I-A-E-A 고위 핵사찰 요원이 북한의 영변 핵발전소 폐쇄과정에 대한 I-A-E-A 감시활동 절차문제를 논의하기 위해 북한 방문길에 올랐습니다.

올리 하이노넨 I -A-E-A사무부총장은 24일, I-A-E-A 사찰단원 세 명과 함께 24일, 오스트리아 수도, 빈에서 평양으로 떠났습니다. 북핵 감시단 단장인 하이노넨 사무부총장은 26일 평양에 도착해 닷 새 동안 체류할 예정입니다.

이보다 앞서 북한을 전격 방문했던 북핵6자회담 미국 수석대표, 크리스토퍼 힐 국무 차관보는 북한 정부가 영변 핵발전소를 3주일 안에 폐쇄하기로 동의했다고 밝힌 바 있습니다.

북한의 6자회담 2-13 합의사항 이행을 지연시켰던 마카우 은행 북한계좌의 동결자금은 러시아 은행 북한계좌로 입금완료됐습니다.

A senior inspector for the United Nations' nuclear watchdog has left for North Korea to discuss how the agency will monitor the shutdown of the country's main nuclear reactor.

Olli Heinonen of the International Atomic Energy Agency left Vienna today (Sunday). He and three colleagues are due to arrive in Pyongyang Tuesday for a five-day visit.

North Korea invited the inspectors to the country last week. It also welcomed the first visit by a top U.S. government official in five years.

Christopher Hill -- the U.S. envoy to nuclear talks -- said that during his visit the North Korea government agreed to begin closing its Yongbyon nuclear reactor within three weeks.

North Korea agreed in February to close the reactor in exchange for diplomatic and aid incentives from the U.S., South Korea, China, Japan and Russia.(미국의 소리 2007.6.24)
