북한, 'BDA 자금 문제 해결' 발표 (E)

북한은 북핵 2-13 합의 이행을 가로막고 있던 BDA  북한자금의 대북한 송금문제가 해결됐다고 말했습니다.

 북한 관영 뉴스매체들은 16일, 이같이 보도하고 북한 당국은 2-13 합의대로 북한의 핵원자로 폐쇄문제에 관해 논의하기 위해 국제 핵사찰 전문요원들을 북한으로 초청했다고 밝혔습니다.

미국의 북핵협상 수석대표,  크리스토퍼 힐 국무차관보는 15일 몽고 수도 울란바토르에서 방코 델타 아시아, BDA북한 자금이 러시아에 이체된 가운데 기술적인 문제로 최종 북한 계좌 이체가 지연되고 있지만 문제가 곧 해결될 것으로 기대한다고 덧붙였습니다. 힐 차관보는 이와 함께 북한은 BDA 자금을 받는대로 2-13 북핵 기본합의에 따른 북한측 조치 이행에 즉각 착수해야 할 것이라고 촉구했습니다.

한편, 북한 관영 조선중앙통신은 평양 당국이 자체의 자위계획을 강화할수도 있다고 경고했습니다.

North Korea says a financial dispute that has held up a nuclear disarmament agreement has been resolved.

North Korean state media report today (Saturday) Pyongyang is inviting U.N. nuclear inspectors into the country to discuss the shutdown of its main nuclear reactor, as called for in the disarmament agreement.

Earlier today, the top U.S. nuclear envoy said North Korean funds, which have been holding up the disarmament deal, are now in Russia, but technical problems were delaying the final transfer to the North's account.

Speaking late Friday in the Mongolian capital of Ulaanbaator, U.S. Assistant Secretary of State Christopher Hill said once North Korea receives the funds, it should immediately begin to follow through with terms of agreement reached in February.(미국의 소리 2007.6.16)
