토니 블링컨 국무장관이 추석을 맞는 한국민들에게 축하의 뜻을 전했습니다.

[블링컨 장관 성명] “On behalf of the United States of America, I extend warm wishes to all Korean people as they celebrate the joyous occasion of Chuseok. This special holiday, steeped in tradition and cultural significance, brings families, friends, and communities together. We are reminded of the enduring spirit of friendship and cooperation that strengthens the bond between our two nations.”

블링컨 장관은 27일 발표한 축하 메시지에서 “미국을 대표해 즐거운 명절인 추석을 맞이하는 모든 한국인에게 따뜻한 축하의 인사를 전한다”고 밝혔습니다.

이어 “전통과 문화적 중요성이 깊은 이 특별한 명절은 가족과 친구, 지역사회를 하나로 묶는다”며 “우리는 양국 간 유대를 강화하는 우정과 협력의 변함없는 정신도 상기하게 된다”고 말했습니다.

블링컨 장관은 “이번 추석 연휴 기간 우정과 공동 가치의 정신이 우리의 여정을 계속 이끌길 바란다”고 밝혔습니다.

이어 “양국 간 굳건한 우정은 희망과 진전의 등대이며, 같은 마음을 가진 나라들이 협력할 때 생기는 잠재력의 좋은 예’라고 덧붙였습니다.
