국무부 "북한 탄도미사일 발사 규탄...안보리 결의 위배되는 위협"

미국 국무부는 “미국은 북한의 탄도미사일 발사를 규탄한다”고 밝혔습니다.

[국무부 대변인실 관계자] “The United States condemns the DPRK’s ballistic missile launches. These tests, along with the six other ballistic missile launches this month, are in violation of multiple UN Security Council Resolutions and pose a threat to the DPRK’s neighbors and the international community.”

미국 국무부 대변인실 관계자는 26일 북한의 잇따른 미사일 발사에 대한 VOA의 논평 요청에 “이들 시험 발사는 이번 달 6차례의 다른 탄도미사일 발사와 함께 유엔 안전보장이사회 결의에 위배되는 것이며, 북한의 주변국과 국제사회에 위협을 가한다”고 비판했습니다.

이어 “우리는 북한에 외교적 접근을 하는 데 전념하고 있으며, 그들이 대화에 관여하기를 촉구한다”고 밝혔습니다.

[국무부 대변인실 관계자] “We remain committed to a diplomatic approach to the DPRK and call on them to engage in dialogue. Our commitment to the defense of the Republic of Korea and Japan remains ironclad.”

또한 “한국과 일본에 대한 우리의 방어 의지는 여전히 철통같다”고 강조했습니다.
