중국의 폭설피해에 국제사회의 지원 개시

중국의 중남부에서 50년만에 많은 눈이 내려 지금까지 60명이 숨지고 무너진 가옥이 백만 채에 달하는 등 피해가 확대되고 있습니다. 이에 따라 인접국인 한국의 노무현 대통령이 지난 1일 호금도 국가주석에 위로서한을 보내고 긴급자금원조로 10만 달러를 제공하겠다고 표명했습니다. 또 EU=유럽연합의 집행기구에 해당하는 유럽위원회의 바로조 위원장도 어제 온가보 총리에게 메시지를 보내 많은 중국인들이 귀성하는 중요한 시기에 악천후로 피해를 입은 데 대해 동정하며 필요한 지원을 실시할 용의가 있다고 전하는 등 국제사회의 지원이 확산되고 있습니다.   Tanks were sent to Hefei-Anqing expressway on Thursday evening and the de-icing work started on early Saturday morning.
