High-Level Event on a New Rural Development Paradigm

Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon (left) greets Park Geun-hye, President of the Republic of Korea, at today's Special High-Level Event, "A New Rural Development Paradigm and the Inclusive and Sustainable New Communities Model Inspired by the Saemaul Undong" organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), and the Organization for Economic Cooperation for Development (OECD). The event is taking place as part of the United Nations summit for the adoption of the post-2015 development agenda.
